Ruins of the Church of the Sepulchre at Hierapolis ancient site in Denizli province of Turkey. The church was built around a first-century sacellum tomb belonging to the Roman cemetery. Hierapolis was an ancient Greek city located on hot springs in classical Phrygia in southwestern Anatolia. Its ruins are adjacent to modern Pamukkale.
