Noah family tree. 18th-century depiction of the family tree of Noah according to the Judeo-Christian biblical tradition of Genesis. After the deluge, Noah's sons (Japeth, Shem and Ham) repopulated the world. Shown here are seventy-nine descendants of Noah's sons, including the Canaanites (upper right), and the descent through Shem, Eber and Peleg to Abram (lower left, Abraham), a key figure of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam). This family tree is from the multi-volume collection titled 'An universal history, from the earliest account of time to the present', published in London, UK, between 1736 and 1744.
