Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River. The river forms the boundary between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The African name, Mosi-oa-Tunya, means 'The smoke that Thunders'. This view is taken from the Zimbabwean side and shows the Devil's Cataract, Cataract Island and part of the Main Falls. The Victoria Falls were named by the explorer David Livingstone.
