(Oct. 26, 2024) – Operationally integrating proven robotic systems for routine use by commanders, a small unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) assigned to Undersea Unmanned Vehicle Group One, Detachment Little Creek, approaches the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Hampton (SSN-767). The mission combined manned and unmanned teams, integrating autonomous capabilities towards the future hybrid fleet.
