Airmen with the 35th Maintenance Squadron crashed, damaged, disabled aircraft recovery unit fill lifting bags with a pneumatic control console at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Jan. 28, 2017. During a lifting bag procedure, a pneumatic control console is used to pump air into each of the four bags. Once the bags are completely full and the aircraft is lifted the landing gear can be properly dislodged.
