View of Derry or Londonderry City on the River Foyle, Northern Ireland. The Walls were built in 1613–1619 as defences for early 17th-century settlers from England and Scotland. The painting is by Joris Cornelisz van der Haagen (1615-1669), a Dutch Golden Age landscape painter.

Originally a monochrome image, it has been cleaned, sharpened and later enhanced with colour.
