Easter and Japanese lilies have been moving slowly, while valley sells only s])asmodically. Carnations are still sliort-stenimed, although a few long- stemmed flowers find their way into the market. Some fairly good Laddie are now arriving, but have been mov- ing slowly. Violets are arriving, but ;ire still scarce. Outdoor calendulas, bachelor's buttons and gaillardias are still arriving, but the demand for these is small.
