A chamber-loading rifle M 1855, cal. mm, no. 656. Matching numbers. Almost bright six-groove rifled bore with bayonet stud, length 93 cm. Total length 141 cm. Folding sight scaled 300 - 800. On chamber hallmarked "HA". Acceptance mark "HD" on right side of chamber, "CJS" on sight base. Unit stamp " - ". Original finish of barrel partly spotted. Chamber with remnants of colour-case hardening. Light walnut stock with both sling swivels. Brass barrel bands, trigger guard and butt cap. Good to very good condition.
