The quality and rich aromatic flavor have also been greatlyimproved. The flesh is green, with a suggestion of pink at the seedcavity, which is peculiarly attractive. It is beautiful in appearance,delightful in flavor, and a general favorite with all. It is safe to saythat no Melon has ever come into the New York markets which hassold so readily and at such high piices as the Rocky Ford, often tothe exclusion of other varieties.
