The blues singer and guitarist Sherman Robertson playing a blistering concert at the Riverside Festival in Nottingham in 2007. Sherman Robertson was born in Louisiana in 1948 but grew up in Houston, Texas. His music and songwriting first came to wide public attention in 1994 with the release of 'I'm your man' on the Code Blue label. His guitar work can also be heard on Paul Simon's Graceland album.
