Campofelice di Roccella, Sicily, Italy - 23 September 2019 Due to its subtropical climate, diverse topography and many microclimates, Sicily houses a wide range of plant types - these range from temperate and Mediterranean through to subtropical and tropical. Here we see some beautiful abstract patterns, textures and shapes of a palm tree leaf and fibres, spotted in Campofelice di Roccella on the north coast of the Island, facing the Tyrrhennian Sea.
