EARLY MORNING—FINISTERE BY LEON GERMAIN PELOUSE LEON GERMAIN PELOTJSE 67—EARLY MORNING—FINISTERE Against a simple gray sky and the mass ofa distant range of wooded hills are opposed theshadows thrown by a flash of sunlight on a clumpof trees overhanging a building and on the shrub-bery of a steep hillside along a country road. Onthe left a placid stream, with marshy banks,stretches away among the trees, and in the road,which with a sidepath breaks the mass of thegreen turf, are several peasant women.
