Sergeant G. Ryden captured this photograph on March 12, 1919, at the refrigerating beef plant in Gievres, Loire et Cher, France. The image shows two 450-ton and two 200-ton ammonia compressors. Additionally, it features one of the four electric generators used for lighting the entire camp.
