CORRECTIONS SJ Aug. 30, 2022 A photograph taken on October 22, 1918, shows Pvt. Campbell from S. C. in possession of German trench mortars captured by the Americans. One of the mortars is labeled with the word "Wo lan". The location of the capture is Flirey, Meurthe et Moselle, France. The image was passed by the censor, although the specific date is unknown.
