Water pollution detector. Researcher developing an automated system to detect and analyse pollution in river water. The system, which uses an optical sensing technology, can detect up to 32 organic pollutants simultaneously. The technology is also being applied to analysis of human fluids. This work is being carried out at the Optoelectronics Research Centre at the University of Southampton, UK.
