Huddling Together

The sun, breaking below the clouds of a passing storm, silhouette the industrial landscape on the north bank of the River Tees. Small fishing boats shelter from a passing storm in this inlet, known locally as Paddy's Hole, within the mouth of the River Tees. Reputedly created by a World War 1 mine explosion, the mooring area is a representation of the diverse types of craft using the river on a daily basis.
