Peta (52) stays in New York because his 85 years old mother does not want him to leave. He used to work as driver but there are no buses now. In the summer, he grows vegetables and potatoes in the garden. Toretsk is a mining town in the eastern Ukraine, turned into scratch by shelling. Russian positions are just few kilometres away.
