The Hazards are a mountain range and main focal point located on Coles Bay in the Freycinet National Park on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia. The Hazzards as it said to be named after local whaler, African-American Captain Richard Hazard. Each of the mountains has a name: L- R, Mount Mason, Mount Amos, Mount Dove, Mount Baudin and Mount Parsons. Around the shore and nearby coastline are orange-coloured granite rocks covered with bright orange-hued life forms utilising a mutualistic relationship between a lichens, seaweed, fungus and algae. Freycinet has global appeal for its crystal-clear waters and curvaceous white beaches, azure bays is one of Tasmania's most celebrated views
