They have made a careful statement of allexpenditures and also a clear exhibit of the needs of the institution forthe next two years for maintenance and for permanent improvements,all of which are embodied in the budget estimates which have been sub-mitted to the Budget Commission. The board feels that the funds appropriated for permanent improve-ments have been wisely expended, and that the institution is in excellentphysical condition.
