Gyrotower, Futuroscope theme park. Futuroscope is a science and technology theme park in Poitiers, France. This observation tower, known as the Gyrotower, has a rotating, circular viewing platform (at upper centre) which can be raised or lowered. The tower is 45 metres tall and visitors are given a recorded commentary on the features of the Futuroscope park. Futuroscope has several buildings of unusual shape and design. It opened in 1987.
