Lightship 14 Goleulong 2000 Moored in Cardiff Dock
In 1988 The Cardiff Bay Development Corporation asked the churches in the Cardiff Bay area to be as it was felt that they should be involved at the hub of the new developments. The Helwick LV14 lightship was purchased and was restored to provide a focal point for Christian activity. It is now a centre for counselling, worship, exhibitions, a meeting point and cafe. It also has accommodation for short stays designed for youth groups. It is a non-profit making venture.
