A valuable variety for the North, and in other sections for late planting, as it grows quickly and matures early, fully as early as Canada Yellow. It is an eight-rowed flint variety, somewhat resembling the Canada Yellow in ap- pearance, but brighter in color. Grains of good size ; small white cob. It is a good yielding corn (considering that flint varieties are not so productive as others), frequently pro- ducing two to three ears to the stalk. The stalks grow six feet high, ears set medium.
