Ancient Egyptian Pyramidion fragment from the tomb of Minnakht, 1327-1295 BC, 18th dynasty, limestone. Louvre Museum E 10265 or AF570. The stone is from the top of the pyramid tomb depicting in a wibdow : man kneeling, pleated kilt, sleeved shirt, worshipper, Condition of the work: fragment. Height: 35 cm; Width: cm. A pyramidion is the uppermost piece or capstone of an Egyptian pyramid or obelisk. Very few have survived in tact.
