Cpl. John Witthuhn jumps to the end of an obstacle during Korean Marine Exchange Program 17-1 Nov. 24, 2016 at the Leadership Reaction Course at Camp Mujuk, Republic of Korea. KMEP is carried out in the spirit of the Republic of Mutual Defense Treaty signed between the two nations Oct. 1, 1953. Witthuhn is an assault man from Brunswick, Ohio and is assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, which is forward deployed from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to 3rd Marine Division, based in Okinawa, Japan.
