These blocks prevent skidding, asthey are thick and deep cut. This extratread is so tough that the tire stands alot of abuse, and aside from possessinggreat non-skidding properties is almostproof against punctures. By installing a newpipe cutting machine, we are able to cutall these ourselves, thereby cutting downthe price of these nipples more than , a large amount of uselessold pipe is recut, so that it can now beused. We operate a complete stock-room,in which all meter repair parts, tools andsupplies are kept, properly separated andlabeled. The stock room is in charge ofa competent stock clerk, who receives allthe goods bought, reporting same onproper blanks daily, in order that the billsfor same can be correctly checked.
