(Nov. 2, 2016) Recruits from division 001 receive safety instructions on proper handling procedures for a CO2 canister Nov. 2 during fire-fighting applications at Recruit Training Command. Fire-fighting training is conducted during week six of eight weeks of boot campt training with applications being the benchmark class. About 38,000 recruits graduate annually from the Navy’s only boot camp.
