Most of my plant photography takes place in our very own Oxfordshire village garden. Convenient, However, this bad boy - a Dandelion seed head - will definitely not be found there. This invasive wild flower - native to North Europe and America - is, in our humble opinion, basically a weed. So, despite it being good in salads and having a beautiful, delicate seed head (seen here) any appearing in our garden are exterminated on sight. This one, together with some wild flowers, was spotted on a grassy verge outside the ancient graveyard of our local parish church of St James.
