Interior from upper floor with stairway and open plan offices. BreadTalk IHQ, Singapore, Singapore. Architect: Kay Ngeee Tan Arc
The brief for the HQ building BreadTalk Group called for a different solution in modern presentation and environmental issues. The multi-storey building is arranged in slightly displaced, tiered layers. These layers vary in height to cater the need of the programmatic spaces. Apart from the figurative metaphor of bread slices, the layered stacking has also the intention to create natural opportunities for shade and air pockets; landscaped terraces were inserted. Hanging green lungs on each floor resonates with the company's inclination towards a greener environment.
