St. John, , April 27.—The re-sults of the recent convention of masterplumbers in St. John are now becoming-apparent, and there is a stronger feel-ing of union and sympathy amongst thetrade. In Frederiction a new local hasbeen organized with bright of much importance was dealtwith at the organization meeting, and aset of by-laws and constitutional regula-tions adopted. The officers electedwere Richard OBrien, president; A. , vice-president; and E. Hurley,secretary-treasurer. The local body willamalgamate with the provincial associa-tion. R. D. Harrington, a popular plumberof St. John, left this week for Edmon-ton, Alta., and before leaving was re-membered by his fellow members of theplumbers union who presented him witha handsome travelling bag of solidleather.
