Pectoral shorterthan ventral, hardly f length of head. Caudal forked, with obtuselypointed lobes. Caudal peduncle nearly 3 times as long as deep. Olive above,whitish beneath ? a median and two lateral series of black spots, thelower forming vertical bars across the lateral line; three more or lessregular black streaks across the dorsal; a black spot on the adipose flu ;a black streak on the middle rays, and three oblique ones on each lobeof the caudal.
