MT Monadnock is located in southwestern New Hampshire. It claims to be the 2nd most hiked or visited mountain in the USA. Elevation is 3,165 feet.

Monadnock is visible from a few different viewpoints. This is a State Park has a visitor entrance and store at the base of mountain for hikers and day hikers. Residents 65 years and older get in free. Open year round, many volunteers keep the trails in good shape. This is from the highway just over the line from Jaffrey into Troy, NH.
