CCGS Matthew is a hydrographic survey ship with the Canadian Coast Guard.


CCGS Matthew is named after John Cabot's ship in which he is believed to have reached Newfoundland and other parts of Eastern Canada. The Matthew performs hydrographic surveys to make nautical charts, or maps of the ocean bottom.
