Part of a Royal Cremation ceremony, Bali. A procession went to the Royal Palace, Ubud, to collect the Dragon belonging to deceased King Ida Dewa Agung Peliatan IX as part of his cremation celebrations. The dragon was returned to Peliatan Palace. Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. The 3 meter dragon with gold leaf scales, is believed to transport the soul of the deceased to the hereafter. It is known as Naga Banda (dragon effigy) and will be burned as part of the cremation
