Preston UK, 22 June 2013. The Band of The King's Division based at Weeton Barracks at the Preston Military Show at Fulwood Barracks, Preston, Lancashire and girl wall climbing. Musicians, Servicemen and women, cadets and veterans represent the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force from all over the North West: Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. The Preston Military Show band is the largest display by the armed forces in the North West of England.
The King's Division is a British Army command, training and administrative apparatus designated for infantry regiments in the North of England. The King's Division was formed in 1968 with the union of the Lancastrian Brigade, Yorkshire Brigade and North Irish Brigade. As of 2007, the King's Division comprises seven infantry battalions:
