150928-N-MV308-170NAS SIGONELLA, Sicily (Sept. 28, 2015) – Aviation Structural Mechanic (Equipment) Airman Recruit Christian Creek loosens the bolts of the air condition duct access door during an installation of a heat exchanger in a P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft belonging to the ‘Golden Eagles’ of Patrol Squadron (VP) 9, at Naval Air Station Sigonella. VP-9 is forward deployed to the 6th Fleet area of responsibility and is currently assigned to CTF 67, responsible for tactical control of deployed maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadrons throughout the European and African area
