Panoramic landscape of the Franz Senn mountaineering hut refuge in the Stubai Alps of the Austrian Tyrol


The photograph is looking towards the Franz Senn Hut in the Stubai Alps of the Austrian Tyrol. The hut is named after the local priest Franz Senn who is credited with establishing the Austria, German and South Tyrol Alpine Club's in 1867. He died prematurely of pneumonia in 1884 aged 52.
