Within this pattern were two midden pits, as shown in plate 199, figure 2, and a central fire basin. This basin had been later filled in and a burial had been made in it. The pattern of the molds evidently indicates a circular structure, but the outline is somewhat ragged due in part to the fact that a part of the circular pattern is missing. It is probable that in this section of the pattern the molds did not extend into the subsoil, and may have been cut away, as all of the molds of this dwelling were very shallow.
