Golden thai Buddha in the style of Theravada tradition meditating

Wat Hua Lang, also known as Wat lung Pa Yai is situated in a remote place in Northern Thailand. On the top of the hill we see this giant Buddha seated in Lotus-Posture on top of a lotus flower in front of a deep blue sky. His right hand is touching the earth showing bhumisparsha, the gesture of witness. On top of his head is a prominent Ushnisha. His left hand is placed in the mudra of leisure.
