EVERETT, Wash. (Mar. 31, 2017) Sailors assigned to Naval Station Everett (NSE) observe morning colors, marking the 124th birthday of the chief petty officer at NSE Jackson Plaza. The Navy created the rank of chief petty officer on April 1, 1893 and honors it annually by taking part in events demonstrating pride and tradition.
