We regard the Baltimore and Ohioas distinctly Baltimores railroad. Itsgreatest terminus is here, its main officesand organization are located here, itspresident, vice-presidents and officiallife are in Baltimore and its 9,000 em-ployes give it a greater civic importanceand a greater municipal and businessvalue than exists in any other railroadwith which I am familiar.
