The restored St. Antoine de Padoue Church in the Canadian National Historic site at Batoche. The church overlooks the Métis cemetery and Gabriel Dumont's grave site. Led by Louis Riel, the Métis formed a Provisional Government in Batoche but were defeated by Canadian forces in the Battle of Batoche.
