Survey data Found from off Glubokaya Bay (on the Korak Coast in the western Bering Sea) north to Kotzebue Sound in the Chukchi Sea, southeast in the eastern Bering Sea to Unalaska Island, and east to Kodiak Island. Depth range 25 to 475 m, most frequently ( of occurrences) on the inner shelf at depths <50 m, and of occurrences from depths <150 m. Survey data provide a more precise distribution in the Chukchi and eastern Bering Seas and a better description of depth preference, but do not otherwise expand the known range of the species.
