This completes the list of the fur traders who lent ahelping hand to the enterprise of erecting the first Pres-byterian Church in this city. They were gentlemen ofremarkable endurance, of tried courage, and clear insight—the pioneers of that grand heritage, the North-west,upon which we have lately entered—and therefore weshould not willingly let their names BENAIAH GIBB.
