A rare 1921 printed portrait of Wolverhampton born British Painter Edward Bird (1772-1819) a painter who was instrumental in the forming of the Bristol School of artists ( members included Nathan Cooper Branwhite, George Cooper, Edward Villiers and Rippingille , John King. In later life he specialised in historic subjects and commissioned portraits. He was elected an associate of the Royal Academy in 1812 and elected a full member in was also was appointed historical painter to Princess Charlotte in 1813,
