Whole expanse of Fonthill house from south western corner. Large tower on left next to two story large window section, then rounded entrance way joined to old farmhouse and finally north eastern tower which is smaller than western one. Constructed on a slope with gravel drive and grass in front of house. Fonthill is a unique poured concrete house designed and built by Henry Mercer during the Art and Crafts movement. The house boasts 44 rooms 18 fireplaces 32 stairwells and more than 200 windows and was completed 1912. It is now a National Historic Landmark.
