Defense Attachés and country team personnel from 12 East Africa nations joined military leaders from Africa Command and Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti Dec. 11-13, for the 2018 East Africa Security Forum. The three-day event was hosted by CJTF-HOA and provided a forum to bolster Department of Defense and State Department integration, while setting the conditions to increase capability and capacity building for African partner nations in the combined joint operations area.
