HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. – Special Operations Command South personnel comprise the Joint Task Force – Haiti command and control elements which departed to Haiti in support of disaster relief operations, Aug. 17. SOCSOUTH personnel work closely with partner nations such as Haiti to develop regional stability and trust between countries in the Western hemisphere.
