APPLE VALLEY, Calif., -- Army LCL Ryan Moses, commander, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, presents a squadron coin of excellence to a retired WWII Army Air Corps member during the Sunset Hills Memorial Park Memorial Day service, May 29, 2017. The memorial service, included several local dignitaries, including Apple Valley Mayor Scott Nassis, who gave the opening remarks. Memorial Day is the day that Americans pay honor and respect to the men and women of the Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great nation.
