It is not necessary todescribe the elegance of the RockIsland express trains. They are theacme of perfection. On arriving atManitou or Colorado Springs the vis-itor to the Crystal Park finds in wait-ing a line of high-class road winds around the mountainside for a distance of eight miles to anelevation 1,500 feet above view along the winding mountainroad in the shadow of giant cliflfs besideyawning chasms unfolds a constantpanorama of wondrous beauty andscenic grandeur. The construction of the road hasbeen pronounced by engineers as oneof the unusual feats of roadway con-struction work.
