Visitors to Cowlyn Bay looking on to view parts of the Victoria Pier had fallen into the sea during the day with more expected


On this day parts of Colwyn Bay's Victoria Pier collapsed into the sea, it was expected that further collapses would take place over the winter with high winds and seas. Victoria Pier is a Grade II listed pier in the seaside resort of Colwyn Bay on the coast of North Wales between Rhyl and Llandudno. It is 750 ft long.
